ConvertME
Termini di Utilizzo
These Terms of Use establish the conditions for accessing and using ConvertME. By using the website or any conversion tool, you confirm that you have read, understood and agreed to these terms.
1. About ConvertME
ConvertME provides free file conversion tools that run directly in the browser, without requiring an account, subscription or watermark on generated files.
The service is designed to prioritize privacy and convenience. Whenever technically possible, conversion happens on the user's own device through browser features and WebAssembly components.
Available formats, features and pages may change over time for technical, maintenance, security or operational reasons.
2. Conditions of use
- Use ConvertME only for lawful purposes.
- Process only files you own or are legitimately authorized to use.
- Do not use the service to infringe copyright, trademarks, trade secrets, personal data rights or any applicable law.
- Do not attempt to exploit vulnerabilities, overload, abuse automation, interfere with or compromise the website infrastructure.
- Do not use ConvertME to create, store, convert or distribute malicious, fraudulent, illegal or rights-infringing content.
3. Quality of results
Conversions depend on the original file quality, document structure, encoding, size, available memory, browser support and technical characteristics of the selected format.
Complex, corrupted, password-protected, unusually large or non-standard files may fail, take longer than expected or produce results with differences in layout, metadata, colors, fonts, compression, synchronization or formatting.
You should review converted files before using them in professional, legal, financial, medical, academic, regulatory or any other high-impact context.
4. Privacy, files and local storage
ConvertME is designed so selected file contents are processed locally in the browser, without upload to its own conversion servers.
Some tools may download technical components required for operation, such as media or OCR engines. These resources are described in more detail in the Privacy Policy.
You are responsible for protecting, backing up, storing and deleting original files and downloaded conversion results on your own device.
5. Third-party technologies and components
The service may use open technologies and third-party libraries, including WebAssembly, FFmpeg, PDF.js, Tesseract.js and libraries for reading, generating and transforming documents.
Those components may have their own licenses, limitations, updates and behavior. ConvertME may replace, update, remove or adjust components and converters to preserve security, performance and compatibility.
6. Service availability
ConvertME is provided as available. Although we work to keep the service stable, fast and secure, we do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, absence of errors, compatibility with all devices or permanent availability of every format.
The service may undergo maintenance, adjustments, updates, temporary downtime or discontinuation of specific tools without prior notice.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the application owner will not be liable for indirect losses, lost profits, business interruption, data loss, failed conversions, incompatibilities, damages arising from improper use or decisions made based on converted files that were not reviewed.
No ConvertME feature replaces technical validation, human review, professional auditing or specialized advice when a converted file will be used in sensitive or high-impact contexts.
8. Changes to these terms
These Terms of Use may be updated to reflect changes in the service, technical requirements, security practices or legal obligations.
The update date shown at the top of this page identifies the current published version.
